Pastor Thomas “Tom” Wyatt, 88, of Lebanon passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at home.

Pastor Tom was born May 31, 1932, at Lebanon, a son of the late Rollie E. and Edrie (Carpenter) Wyatt. He was married to Norma Reagan Wyatt and they just celebrated 65 years of marriage on Jan. 1, 2020. She passed Jan. 12, 2020.

Pastor Tom was a graduate of Lebanon High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic from 1952-56. He was a supervisor at Commercial Filters/Parker/Hannifin. He also sold real estate and life insurance for Western & Southern. Pastor Tom was a chaplain at Witham Memorial Hospital and the Boone County Jail. He was the “Voice of Faith” on his radio show on Sunday morning and had a religious column in the Lebanon Reporter. He was the Pastor with his wife at One Way Christian Church in Lebanon for 27 years and prior to that had pastored at Crawfordsville Word Fellowship. Pastor Tom was also a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 352.

Survivors include his children, Dee Ann (Frank) Pultz of Lebanon, Michael (Daphne) Wyatt of Noblesville, and Brian and Kevin Wyatt, both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Sarah (Devon) Johnson of Indianapolis, Jessica (Dan Stout) Stephens of Lebanon, Leah Pultz of Indianapolis, Abigail (Nicholas) England of Indianapolis and Joseph Wyatt of Fishers; great-grandchildren, Alayna Johnson, Faith Johnson, Mattie Warren, Troy Johnson, Sofia Johnson and Peyton England; brother-in-law Mark Reagan; sister-in-law Margaret Wyatt; lifelong friend, Patty Jamison; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Thomas was preceded in death by grandson Eric Wyatt and siblings, John Wyatt, Hazel Noonan, Betty Wright, Virginia Davis, Billy Wyatt and Richard Wyatt.

Everyone is welcome for the visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at One Way Christian Church, 445 N. C.R. 500W, Lebanon, with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tom will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
