Paulette Hurt, 72, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Franciscan Health Lafayette.

Paulette was born Aug. 18, 1948, at Glasgow, Kentucky, to Paul Hurt and Edith Bartley Hurt.

Paulette is survived by her mother, Edith Hurt of Crawfordsville; sons, Brian Consoer (Susan Risner) of Darlington and Jason (Rebecca) Roche of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Garrett and Alli Roche; sisters, Karen Brainard of Crawfordsville and Kimberlie (Jim Vance) of Waynetown; brothers, Roy (Carla Hurt) of Crawfordsville and Randall (Amy Hurt) of Edmonton, Kentucky. Paulette leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by father Paul Hurt; sister Carol Bowles; ex-husband Garry Hole; and companion Bill Deener, who never let her want for anything.

Paulette attended Coal Creek High School and graduated in 1967, soon to marry Edward Consoer. He is deceased. She later married Jack Roche, he survives.

Paulette had a great passion for art and music. She was deeply romantic and loved sitting on her porch and visiting with friends and family. She loved crocheting and she made throws, mittens, hats and booties to give away to loved ones. Paulette loved her mama and told her often with sweet memes on Facebook. She loved Kentucky and wanted to visit her cousin Dana this summer, who she had a special friendship with from childhood. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Details will be announced as they become available.
