PHHS drama dept. brings ‘The Hundred Dresses’ to stage

The Parke Heritage High School Drama Department will present “The Hundred Dresses” at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at the school.

A buffet style dinner will be served prior to the show at 1 p.m. Dinner will be prepared by members of the FCCLA, led by Amber White. Go to https://bpt.me/4419644 to order tickets for the buffet and show. Tickets are $12 for dinner and show. Show only is $6. Tickets will also be available during the lunch hour at PHHS on Nov. 11-15. Show-only tickets will be available at the door.

Wanda Petronski, a second-grader, lives way up in a shabby house in Boggins Heights. She wears a faded blue dress every day, but she tells her classmates that she has a 100 dresses at home of all fabrics and colors. A group of classmates led by Peggy begin the dresses game teasing Wanda about her 100 dresses until one day she disappears from school. Bullying, friendship and forgiveness are all touched upon in this heart-warming  45-minute play.
