The Parke Heritage High School National Honor Society held its induction of new members April 29 in the high school gym.
Eighteen students were inducted as new members as 2020 inductees and 22 students as 2021 inductees. The 2020 Induction ceremony was not held due to COVID instructions, therefore these students were honored alongside the 2021 inductees. They were selected based upon scholarship, service, leadership and character. These areas are the basis for all National Honor Society selections.
New members for 2020 were Drew Brown, Jenna Brown, Atlantis Clendenin, Tara Cooper, Noah Crane, Jasmyne Everson, Ethan Fleener, Carly Harpold, Evan James, Chloe Kramer, Matthew Lacy, Hannah O’Brien, Chloe Patton, Grace Ramsay, JD Seward, Landon Stewart, Bethany Wilson and Kirsten Wood.
Selected as the 2021 inductees are Rebekah Ayres, Ava Barger, Josie Bodine, Mason Bowsher, Ashlynn Casey, Ashlee Clodfelter, Kaylen Hanson, Aleah Haworth, Haley Holcomb, Ashlyn Hybarger, Gavin Jacks, Hailey Liebrandt, Garrett McCalister, Mason McVay, Stella Mrazik, Alison Nicholas, Emma Norman, Paige Patton, Baylee Ramey, Jonathan Slater, Grant Thompson and Hannah Thurman.
