Phyllis D. Manning, 92, of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
She was born May 8, 1928, at Crawfordsville, to Mary Jane Taylor Wilkinson.
She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and worked for Lewis & Shepherd as well as Banjo Products. Phyllis was a member of the Darlington Christian Church. She was married to Richard Manning on Aug. 21, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Manning of Darlington and Marsha Hodgen of Macon, Missouri; grandchildren, Darren Hodgen, Brian Hodgen, Jill Hodgen-Woodcock, Kyle Manning and Katie (Aaron) Hopkins. She has five great-grandchildren, Grady, Stetson, Jeffrey, Skyler and Carson. She is also survived be her sisters, Janet (Wally) Nichols and Donna (David) Orwig, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Wally Nichols officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will follow in the Darlington Greenlawn Cemetery.
