Police are investigating after a man’s body was found Saturday in Crawfordsville.
Crawfordsville Police received a call about 6:30 p.m. from a passerby who found the body in the area of the 600 block of Mill Street, Chief Mike Norman said.
Police identified the man as Wesley Thorton, 42, of Crawfordsville. Thorton had been reported missing earlier last week, Norman said.
Investigators don’t know how long the body had been there.
“At this point, there’s no signs of foul play,” Norman said.
An autopsy is scheduled later this week, Norman added.
