American Legion Byron Cox Post No. 72 fell at Danville, Ill 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Danville jumped on Crawfordsville with three runs in the first inning and never looked back.

Crawfordsville’s Henry Taylor and Tri-West’s Matthew Harris led Pot 72 with two hits apiece. North Montgomery’s Jacob Braun drove in a run.

Danville’s Tony Ramirez tossed 5 1/3 innings in the loss, allowing two earned runs on four hits, walked five and struckout six.
