Mustangs split in tourney
Fountain Central won the consolation game at Saturday’s Sherian Holiday Tourney by defeating North White 69-30.
Mustang Ayden Batchelor scored a game-high 29 points which included hitting six of eight three-point attempts.
Eli Foxworthy added 18 points.
Fountain Central lost to Hagerstown in the first game by a score of 43-30.
Sheridan defeated Hagerstown 85-55 to win the championship.
The Mustangs (3-5) will host Clinton Prairie on Jan. 10.
GIRLS WRESTLING
Chargers compete at Beeh Grove
Four North Montgomery girls wrestlers competed Saturday at the Beech Grove Invitational.
Charger Julia Shea (170) placed third by defeating the 10th and 15th ranked wrestlers in Indiana.
Tenara Jones picked up her first varsity victory.
