Chargers split with Cascade
North Montgomery swim teams split with Cascade on Tuesday. The girls defeated the Cadets 102-83 and the boys lost 107-78.
The girls (10-1) were led by Dusty Robinson who was involved in four first place events. She was a member of the 200 medley relay (2:05.5) team which included Eva Kilgour, Kylie Sankey and Kate Merica. She also won the 100 free (59.7) and was a member of the winning 200 free relay (1:35.47) with Katelyn Woolwine, Brooklyn Kerns and Sankey. She also was a member of the winning (400 free relay) with Kerns, Sankey and Merica.
Kilgour also won the 200 IM (2:31.41).
Merica also won the 50 free (27.5) and 500 free (5:56.5).
Sankey won the 100 back (1:06.53).
Annabelle Verduin won diving with a score of 168.35.
The boys (3-6-1) team won seven events.
Avery Wright was a member of the winning 400 free relay (4:02.69) along with Sam Woolwine, Josh Hunsberger and Marshall Templeman. He also was a member of the 200 free relay (1:48.53) with Woolwine, Jack Rogers and Sam Rogers.
Wright also on the 200 free (2:06.57) and 100 back (1:05.68).
Templeman won the 50 free (25.83) and 500 free (5:29.24).
North Montgomery will next swim Tuesday at home against South Putnam.
