SAC team announced
The Sagamore Athletic Conference has announced the 2024 all-conference teams.
No Montgomery County athletes were on the first team. Earning second team all-conference honors from Montgomery County are sophomores Claire Peacock and Reese Price of Crawfordsville along with Southmont freshman Ella Barry and senior Mallory Mason. Seniors Piper Ramey and Kaydence Young represents North Montgomery on the second team.

Stars playing for state championship
Western Boone (25-5) will play Brownstown Central (33-3) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State University for the state championship.
Other championship games are:
• 1A, 11 a.m. Trinity Lutheran (29-8) vs. Faith Christian of Lafayette (28-4).
• 3A, 4:30 p.m. Roncalli (34-0) vs. Angola )32-4)
• 4A, 7 p.m. Yorktown (33-2) vs. Carroll of Ft. Wayne (32-3).
