Fountain Central defeats Stars
Fountain Central’s boys’ tennis team defeated Western Boone 3-2 on Tuesday.
The Mustang’s No. 2 singles player Skyler Hoagland defeated Jon Rutherford 6-1, 6-0 and No. 3 singles player Ayden Batchelor defeated Star opponent Jacob Collins 6-2, 6-0.
The third victory for Fountain Central came from the No. 2 doubles team of William Armstrong and Jose Duarte-Garajalas 6-0, 6-1.
Fountain Central (10-2) will travel to Greencastle today. Western Boone (12-7) played North Montgomery Wednesday in Dover.

Little Giants take down Quakers
Wabash College defeated Earlham 5-3 on Tuesday in Richmond.
The Little Giants led 2-0 at the half and held off a Quaker comeback in the second half. The Quakers never did lead in the match, but did at the 15-minute mark cut the Wabash lead to 4-3.
Wabash (7-2) will host Illinois Wesleyan at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
