Rainbows & Rhymes has achieved a Level 3 (of four levels) rating in Paths to QUALITY. Paths to QUALITY is Indiana’s quality rating and improvement system for child care programs. It is a consistent set of standards to help parents identify licensed family child care centers, licensed family child care homes, and unlicensed registered ministries that have met state requirements for health and safety.
First United Methodist Church is committed to ministry to families with young children through Rainbows & Rhymes. Since its inception in 1994, Rainbows & Rhymes has evolved to a year-round high-quality preschool with full-day care options. Its teachers complete many hours of professional development annually and most of the staff have earned or are taking classes to earn the Child Development Associate Credential. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided and CCDF tuition vouchers are accepted. Program hours are 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
