Ralph Dowell, 67, Crawfordsville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at Franciscan Health due to foreign viruses.
Ralph was born July 17, 1957, at Crawfordsville, to Homer and Latricia (Deck) Dowell and graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1975. He worked at LSC (formerly RR Donnelley’s) for 44 years, retiring in 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Corinna (Brooks) Dowell; two daughters, Lyndsey Dowell (Lee) of Indianapolis and Jennifer Dowell of Crawfordsville; brother Harold (Robin) Dowell of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Pam Emerson and Rhonda (Tom) Emerson of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; many nieces; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald “Jerry” and Carl; and his best canine buddy, Lynryd.
Ralph loved his retirement working in his yard, watching sports, golfing, mushroom hunting, fishing and playing with his dog. He will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to be thank Franciscan Health of Crawfordsville and Lafayette for their incredible kindness and expert care.
Per his wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
