Do you know what is in the 2,700 pages of the current Democratic
$3.5 trillion infrastructure bill?

You may download the full text it at this website: https://www.budget.senate.gov/download/hen21b67-text and see for yourself.

It passed the Senate by a 50-49 majority, in the dead of night, without committee hearings or even a supermajority in either chamber of Congress. This bill comes in addition to the $6 trillion already passed to fight COVID-19 (which only represents about 20% of the spending, according to Congressional Budget Office records).

As examples, it’s “Boarder Management Investments” includes approximately $3 billion for new systems to process illegal immigrants faster into the U.S. (including massive amnesty for the estimated 30 million illegal immigrants already residing in the U.S.) but does not fund deterrence of any kind for future illegal immigration. In 2020, the U.S. naturalized over 850,000 immigrants and is on track to reach 1 million annually by 2022, per INS official records.

It’s “Extended Child Tax Credits” provides more benefits for single parents than it does for married couples, universal pre-K (which, studies in Canada show, hinder early childhood development) and the provision ignores mothers or fathers who want to work from home or part-time.

These are a few examples of the legislation and I encourage you to take an interest in this society changing legislation and let your members of Congress know how you feel and how you want them to vote.
