Recycling bins at CHS removed

Posted

With the appointment-only, drive-through COVID-19 testing site being opened at Crawfordsville High School, the public recycling bins at the high school have been removed until further notice to eliminate any unnecessary traffic in that area.

This change is effective immediately.

Once the drive-through testing site is no longer needed, the bins will be returned. A press release will be issued when that occurs.

Recyclables may be dropped off at the bins at W Enterprises, 302 S. Oak St. (the corner of South Oak and East Wabash Avenue). In addition, there are recycle bins at Southmont High School and North Montgomery High School. These sites will continue to operate as normal.

This will have no impact on the home recycling program in the city limits of Crawfordsville.
