Richard E. Myers, 83, of Bradenton, Florida, was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away to be with the Lord on May 12, 2024. Richard was born in January of 1941 in Crawfordsville to the late Herman and Doris Myers.
Growing up, Richard lived and worked on the Generational Family Farm. He graduated high school in Hillsboro. He then continued his hard work, dedication, and creativity to farming and farmed in Montgomery and Fountain counties for numerous years. During those years, Richard and his wife Donna opened the Myers Dinner Theater, where many walks of life came through from around the world.
The life Richard led was dedicated to the Lord. He cherished living life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a patient, kindhearted, mindful man of God that sought to help others in a time of need. He was a creative soul that put his heart into the things he loved and most certainly will be missed.
Richard is survived in death by his loving wife, Donna Myers; three sons, Scott (Laura) Myers, Eric Myers and Neal (Toni) Myers; step-daughter Debra (Scott) Brown; step-son: Bryan (Tammy) Graves; brother Larry (Faye) Myers; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held June 8, starting with a gathering and serving of light hors d’oeuvres from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and a time of remembrance from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Myers Dinner Theater, 108 Water St., Hillsboro.
