Robbie Lee Malone, 53, died Nov. 20, 2020, at his home in Crawfordsville.

Mr. Malone was born July 28, 1967, at Linton, Indiana, to Norman and Ruth Malone.

He was the youngest of five children. As an active child, he loved to play baseball and cause trouble. That love of mischief continued through his teen years and into adulthood.

After losing his leg in a work accident in 1995, he still found ways to stay positive and support his family of five. He spent many years doing woodwork. Robbie was also diagnosed with and beat lung cancer in 2012.

A hard life didn’t keep Robbie down. To those who knew him, Robbie was a caring, rock n roll singing, hard-working goofball. He whooped his kids at badminton and threw frisbee like a champ. He was a humble man who did everything to support his family. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors in his garden or doing his yard work. He will be dearly missed and the world is a little darker without him.

Robbie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beckie; children, Nikki Malone, Robbie Malone and Ashley (Jacob) Harrah; grandchildren, Aurora, Levi, Eli, and Connor Harrah; and siblings, Chris (John) Farrow, Pam Malone, Toni (Steve) Gunderman and Andy (Dalea) Malone.

No public service will be held. He will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery as part of a private family gathering. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
