He was a founding member of the Waynetown Community Watch program in town. He loved small town living and was a supporter of improvements to the park and community events. His pride and joy was his dog Dixie.

Rodger will be missed by his many friends and neighbors in the Waynetown community.

It was his wish to have a simple cremation and to have his ashes placed in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. His friends will conduct a celebration of his life with a balloon release and gathering at the Waynetown Park at a later date.

Those who wish to may remember him and his love of animals by making a donation to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
