Roger Dean Oilar II, 39, of Kingman passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at home while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 18, 1981, at Danville, Illinois, to Roger Dean Oilar Sr. and Bonnie Diane (Purple) Oilar.

Roger attended Fountain Central High School and played football and went to state in wresting. Throughout the years he worked at Danny Murphy Construction in Crawfordsville and Random House. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, shooting pool, horseshoes, and loved his nieces and nephews. 

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Oilar of Kingman; three brothers, Keri Oilar, Randy (Vanessa) Purple and Jeremy Oilar; sister Crystal (Chad) Hesh; and several nieces and nephews.   

He was preceded in death in by his father, Roger Dean Oilar Sr.; paternal grandparents, Ike and Marie Oilar; and maternal grandparents, William and Ruth Purple. 

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, on Saturday, Feb. 13 from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bob Cruea officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on his obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
