Ronnie Edward Blankenbeckler, 72, of Veedersburg passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022.

He was born in Morehead, Kentucky, on Sept. 28, 1950, to the late Glen and Gertrude (Lambert) Blankenbeckler.

Ron graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1968 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1969. He was stationed in England where he met and later married the love of his life, Chris Ann Moser on Aug. 29, 1972. After leaving the Air Force, he worked as a Repair Technician for many years at 3M/Ricoh. Ron liked to play the guitar, paint along with Bob Ross, loved fishing and going out on the pontoon, was a great cook, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his life partner of 50 years, Chris A Blankenbeckler of Veedersburg; two daughters, Tanya R. Thomas (Corbin Foster) of Covington and Melissa M. Patton (Josh Patton) of Auburntown, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Victoria A. Thomas of Danville, Illinois, and Alexandria T. Thomas of Terre Haute; great-granddaughter Olivia R. Powell of Danville, Illinois; three siblings; Ray (Joellen) Blankenbeckler of Williamsport, John (Kerry) Blankenbeckler of Ridge Farm, Illinois, and Kenny (Judy) Blankenbeckler of Veedersburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dog, Barkley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Loretta Gray, Veester Wampler, Katherine Gray, Janet Potts, Bobbie Shoap and Linda Brock; and two brothers, Leroy Blankenbeckler and Roger Blankenbeckler.

Cremation was chosen with a visitation at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman, on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m., with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.
