Roscoe N. Rush, 80, of Kildeer, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021.

He was born July 27, 1940, at Alamo, to L. Doyne and Helen (nee Elmore) Rush.

Roscoe had a long career in banking for over 39 years and was past president of the Evergreen Park Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He also taught economics at Harper College and operated a farm in the Alamo area. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Purdue University, West Lafayette.

Roscoe had a love of travel, was an avid gardener, and always had an interesting story to tell. He also had a love for skiing and would escape to the slopes whenever he got the chance.

Roscoe will be fondly remembered as a loving father and grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family. He impacted many lives through his family and friends and his legacy will live on with all those he touched.

Roscoe is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Jaqueline (nee Cipriani); sons, Roscoe M., Santi, Robert (Karen) and Nelson; grandchildren, Roscoe T., Michael, Renee, Allison and Kristen; and brother Dean (Edith).

Due to the pandemic, Roscoe’s family will be holding a celebration of his life at a later date when friends and family can gather together.
