Rosetta “Rosie” Short, 92, of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday, April 9, 2021, at Wellbrooke of Crawfordville.
She was born Nov. 21, 1928, to the late John “Jack” L. and Margaret (Creighton) Robinson.
Rosetta graduated from Knox High School in 1947. She married Howard Short on March 25, 1951, he preceded her in death on July 15, 2013. She enjoyed watching football. Her favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Purdue Boilermakers.
Rosetta is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Glenn) Whitaker, Marsha Curry and Della Grimes; sister Violet Ono; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard; brother Lee Robinson; and sons-in-law, Jim Curry and Dale Grimes.
A private service will be held at a later date.
