Athenians get back in win column with dominating performance

Crawfordsville boys basketball was looking for a bounce back win Saturday as they traveled to Attica for a battle with the Red Ramblers. The Athenians did just that with an all-around dominating performance in what was a 71-23 victory.

The Athenians improve to 2-2 (0-1 SAC) on the season and will return to action on Friday as they travel to West Lafayette.

Avery Saunders continued his streak of 20-point games to lead the Mounties in scoring with 24. Logan Oppy added 16.

The 4-0 (1-0) SAC Mounties will be back in action Friday night as they welcome the Danville Warriors for a girl/boy double-header.

Wrestlers see successful day at WeBo Duals
