Ryan Scott McManomy, 44, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Aug. 4, 2024, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Illinois, following a lengthy illness.

Ryan was born Oct. 15, 1979, at Lafayette, son of Scott and DeAnna Clouse  McManomy. They survive.

Until three years ago, Ryan was able to live alone in his apartment in Crawfordsville, before moving to the Mary Bryant Home for the Visually Impaired in Springfield, Illinois, where he enjoyed having friends to interact with daily. He enjoyed Ham Radio, Books on Tape and was very proficient in working with computers.

Surviving are his parents, Scott and DeAnna McManomy of Tavares, Florida;  sister Tonya (Mitchell) Willoughby of Newtown; brother Evan (Kristi) McManomy of Lafayette; nieces and nephews, Devin, Cailynn, Ella, Maddox, Noah, Lexi and Dakoda; and many uncles and aunts.
