LCpl Sean K. Williams, a United States Marine, age 20, of Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1999, to Joseph Wayne and the late Cathy Rae (Lincoln) Williams.
Sean graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 2018. Sean’s proudest accomplishment was joining the United States Marine Reserves. He worked at Pomp’s Tire as a service truck driver. Sean was a very determined and hardworking individual. He was an exceptional young man and widely loved by everyone. He had a contagious smile, that made everyone happy. He enjoyed target shooting, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his friends.
Sean is survived by his father, Joe; grandparents, Duane and Elaine Lincoln and Agnes Surber; two aunts, Trisha (Tom) Barningham and Angie (Eddy) Layne; two uncles, Eric Dykman and Harold Shepley; special cousins, Megan and Harold Shepley; several friends who were basically family, the Haderles, Waldens, Meffords, Ty, Robert, Josh and their families; and many other friends.
Sean was preceded in death by his mom, Cathy; and aunt, Diane Shepley.
Visitation will be at 5-6 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 12 at the funeral home, with military honors by the United States Marine Corps and Bryon Cox Legion Post 72 Honor Guard.
