CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Wabash saw its 2025 baseball season end on Friday with a 10-2 loss to the College of Wooster in the first elimination game of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament played at V.A. Memorial Stadium.
Trailing 4-0, the Little Giants first put runs on the board in the fifth inning. Wabash plated two runs when freshman DJ Mendez left the yard with senior Will Phillips aboard. The Little Giants could not get any closer, as Wooster (23-16-1) added six runs to its tally on the way to a 10-2 final.
Freshman Jarrod Kirsch (4-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Wabash (27-15). Senior Braeden Bryant was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit.
