The Crawfordsville senior golf group met for their weekly scramble the last two weeks at Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course.
Last Friday, the team of Dave Hart, Dale Wilson, Pat McDowell, Pat Henry, and Bud Arnold won with a low score of (-13) under par. Jim Long, Mike Fry, Ed Roberts, Dave Crispin, and Jim Zielinksi placed second, while Alan Froedge, Larry Manlove, Steve Burkle, Lou Mason, and Bill Shelson placed third at (-10) under par.
Dale Wilson won the proxy on No. 7, while Jim White won on No. 15, and Dick Baker won the long drive.
John Abney also hit his first hole-in-one on No. 2 — witnessed by Dick VanArsdel, Harold Mennen, Steve Winningham, and White Pruett.
This past Friday, the team of Alan Froedge, Les Clardy, Bud Wright, John Welliever, and Jim White won with a score of (-16) under par. Dick Baker, Ray Haulk, Bill Franklin, Joe Irvin, and John Stull placed second t (-11) under par. Jim Long, Dick VanArsdel, Denny Wilson, Mike Dozier, and Gary Duncan placed third.
Mike Dozier won the proxy on No. 9 and Fred Phelps on No. 17. Pat McDowell won the long drive.
