The Wabash College lacrosse team honored seniors Luka DiFilippo, Quinn Fitzgerald, Owen Hauber, and Josh Taylor before the Little Giants’ final home game of the 2025 season against Hiram College. Wabash shut out the visiting Terriers with a 21-0 victory.
Fitzgerald scored five goals and gave out one assist to become the all-time leader in points scored with 190 career points, eclipsing the former record of 185 points held by Steven Stark (2016-2019). Fitzgerald ranks second on the Wabash all-time goals list with 122, trailing Colin Brennan’s career record of 126 goals.
Wabash (8-7, 2-5 NCAC) scored five first-period goals to put the game away. Taylor scored a career-best four goals to go with Fitzgerald’s five tallies. Jake Pippen added four goals. Evan Bair and Christiand Dybedock scored twice, and DiFilippo, Sam Santiago, Will Sorg, and Conor Hinderman notched a single goal.
Sorg and Charlie Rafalko picked up two assists apiece for the Little Giants. Fitzgerald, Bair, Dybedock, Pippen, Cooper Navarro, and Lucas Cunningham each had one assist.
Hauber won 10 of his 16 faceoff attempts. DiFilippo finished five-for-five from the dot on the afternoon. Liam Foley won two of three faceoff tries. Bryce Poling finished with a team-best six ground balls. Cunningham and Poling paced the defense with two caused turnovers apiece.
Colin Krekeler earned the win in goal for Wabash, making two saves. Brody Carr picked up two saves in 30 minutes of action at goalkeeper for the Little Giants.
Wabash outshot Hiram (3-12, 0-6 NCAC) 76-18 and put up 40 shots on goal compared to four by the Terriers.
Wabash wraps up the 2025 season Saturday with an 11 a.m. contest at the College of Wooster.
