Sharon Kay (Long) Pierce, 71, of Kingman passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at University Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born Jan. 7, 1950, at Crawfordsville, to the late Roy George and Alice Mae (Harboldt) Long. She married Daniel Lee Pierce on Oct. 21, 1991, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death April 11, 2008.

Throughout the years she worked at Wabash College in Crawfordsville and was the town clerk in Battle Ground. She loved going to yard sales, was always on the go and loved spending time with her grandkids. 

She is survived by son Jeremy (Erica) Deboy of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Lois Deck of Kingman and Brenda Wright of New Richmond; brother Larry (Vickie) Long of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Tobin and Zoey Deboy; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel; and sister Wanda Devaney.

There will be a private family service on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1086 N. C.R. 125W, Crawfordsville. The service will be live streamed and recorded which can be viewed on her obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Burial will follow at Battle Ground Cemetery.
