Come and make a clay ornamental bird house at Athens Arts in Crawfordsville.
Participants will learn a slab technique to make a bird house that each artist can take home when its complete.
At the first session on Feb. 9 the class will build the bird house. On March 2, during another session participants will glaze the bird house. After the instructor fires the bird houses, the art gallery staff will coordinate a pick up time.
The instructor will provide each student with Sedona clay as well as all other supplies needed to create an ornamental bird house. Cost is $35 and covers both sessions. Choose either an afternoon session (1-3 p.m.) or an evening session (6-8 p.m.).
The class is open to anyone 12 years and older. Classes meet at Athens Arts, 216 E. Main Street, Crawfordsville. To reserve a spot, call Athens Arts at 765-362-7455 and leave your name and a phone number.
