Posted

Gary Starnes celebrated 15 years of service with Crawford Industries on Sunday. He joined Crawford in 2006 as a Kugler operator in the finishing department. In 2008, he move to the screening department and then transferred back to finishing in 2012 again to run the Kugler machine. In 2015, Starnes returned to the screening department, where he currently works as an auto screen press operator. Because of his extensive knowledge on the Kugler machine, he continues to help out there and train new operators.

Starnes and his wife, Barbara, live in Crawfordsville. He has a daughter, Jessica Starnes, and three step-children John Dankel, Lisa Howard and Chris Dankel. He has a brother who also works for Crawford Industries, Scott Starnes, and his father Charles Starnes retired from Crawford in 2006.

Starnes is a member of the Sugar Creek Radio Control Club and in his spare time he rides bicycles.
