Stefanie Dale of Darlington passed away Monday night at the age of 52.

Stefanie had her own business, “Brush of Color” and was very successful, in addition to which she had a real estate license. She was full of life and loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed playing golf at Rocky Ridge and gardening. Most of all, she loved watching her kids activities and loved her grandkids.

Born Aug. 15, 1968, she was the daughter of Joe Chamness and Sally Price Chamness. She graduated from North Montgomery in 1986, where she was a track star and held school records in the high jump. She married Brian Dale on July 1, 1989. He survives.

Surviving family includes: husband Brian Dale; son Brandon Dale; daughter Jessica Dale; son Brent Dale; three grandchildren, Aisley, Kasen and Maverick; parents, Joe and Sally Chamness; three sisters, Erin (Chuck) Hoover, Cali (Andy) Bridges and Brette (Bryan) Howe; grandmother Pat Price; mother-in-law Kay Dale; sister-in-law Deanna McCool; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at the Darlington Community Center (formerly the armory) with cremation to take place afterwards. The family asks that you observe CDC guidelines for wearing a mask and social distancing. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
