Steven Kyle “Steve” Roberts, 45, passed away Tuesday morning, June 14, 2022, in Montgomery County, Indiana.
He was born March 20, 1977, at Indianapolis, a son of William Arthur Roberts and Jacqueline Lynn (Golden) Waddell.
Steve was a 1996 graduate of Western Boone High School. Following high school he became a journeyman plumber with Local #440 in Indianapolis.
He was a loving father, son, brother and papaw. His hobbies included kayaking, skydiving, traveling and spending time with his grandkids. Steve’s outgoing spirit with a soft heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include: his companion, April C. Gott of Jamestown; three children, Desiree M. Estep and companion, Kody Ross, of Crawfordsville, Arielle Redman of San Diego, California, and Lexi L. Roberts of Zionsville; two grandchildren, Savannah Ross and Kaidence Ross; mother and step-father, Jackie L. and James Waddell of Cayuga, Indiana; father William Roberts and companion, Debbie Stone, of Lebanon; brothers, Adam (Heather) Roberts, Billy Joe Roberts, Shane Roberts and companion, Destiny Twitty, all of Lebanon; step-brothers, Tommy Waddell of Frankfort, Travis Waddell of Frankfort, Austin Waddell of Cayuga and Daniel Waddell of Cayuga; step-sister Melissa (John) Scott of Frankfort; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by sister Tammy Roberts.
A celebration of life will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 24 at the American Legion Post #113, 1020 Hendricks Drive, Lebanon, Indiana.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
