The stage is being set for Downtown Party Night.
Crawfordsville Main Street received approval Wednesday from the Crawfordsville Board of Public Works and Safety to close a portion of East Main Street from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. Nov. 29 for the tree lighting.
The hay wagon route, which starts and ends at Pike Place, was also approved.
Downtown Party Night runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 30 in conjunction with daylong Small Business Saturday festivities.
In other business, the board:
• Approved a $2,000 agreement with Pneuma, LLC to redesign Fusion 54’s website and a $900 agreement with Parable Productions to produce videos for the site.
• Accepted a parking request from Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 90 for a food basket drive from Nov. 20-23.
