Susan Stump, 79, of Fishers, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at Hamilton Trace Senior Living in Fishers.
She was born Oct. 7, 1945, in San Pablo, California, to Lester and Frances Hartung Fine.
Susan graduated from Crawfordsville High School and retired from RR Donnelly & Sons, after 49 years of service.
She married Donald Stump on July 5, 1977. He preceded her in death May 24, 2017.
Susan was an active member of Eastside Baptist Church and often spent time alongside Don at Elston Fields, as active members of the local softball community.
Survivors include: daughter Sarah Stump Hamilton; son-in-law Jeff Hamilton; and two grandchildren, Max and Stellah. She also is survived by Donald’s three children, Teresa (Dan) Houston, Mike (Tina) Stump and Lisa (Henry) Glover, along with grandchildren, Natasha, Corbin, Kayla, Krista, Katelyn, Aislyn, Hank and Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Linda Dickerson, Mary Ann Clough and Sally Willis.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life following the service at Eastside Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
