Terry W. Cummings of Crawfordsville passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2019, at the St. Vincent Hospital on 86th street. He was 63.
Terry worked at Overpeck Gas and Childress Farm Service. He retired from RR Donnelley (now LSC), after 27 years as a machinist. He liked to tinker and work on things, especially cars. He liked to attend concerts and was a music lover who enjoyed playing his guitar. His love of cars also extended to racing, particularly dirt track and small track racing. He also liked going fishing. Most of all, he loved his family.
Born Dec. 2, 1955, at Lafayette, he was the son of Harry Cummings and Edith McKee Cummings. He attended Fountain Central High School. He married Anna Marie Kyger on Aug. 4, 2001, at Wesley Chapel.
Surviving family includes: wife Anna Marie Cummings of Crawfordsville; daughters, April Ross (Rodney) and Carrie Miller (Randy), both of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren, Blake Cummings, Jordan Ross, Sophie Ross and Olivia Miller; two brothers, Ronald (Stella) Cummings and Clifford (Donna) Cummings; sister Sherry (Alan) Buser; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Lee Braden Cummings.
Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m., led by Pastor Isaac Zull. Interment will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery on State Road 47S.
