A trio of local runners advanced to the cross country semi-state with strong runs on Saturday at their respective regionals.
Southmont sophomore Faith Allen advanced with a sixth-place finish at the Ben Davis regional with a time of 19:13. Crawfordsville’s Hunter Hutchison placed 25th with a time of 17:04. At the Harrison regional, North Montgomery’s Elijah McCartney placed 21st with a time of 17:32.
