Veterans Officer will be at Legion Sept. 9

Posted

We are starting to cool down as I write this column. We have had three veterans go to Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis. I have had 13 veterans come into my office for help.

I have had 44 veterans to call my office. I will be at the American Legion Post 72 in Crawfordsville 1-4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 to give support to any veteran or spouse who need it.

On Sept. 11 the First United Pentecostal Church will have a special event representing the 9/11 event. I will be at this event.

Here are some of the statics from 9/11: 2,753 deaths at the World Trade Center; 184 deaths at the Pentagon; 40 deaths on United Flight 93; 420 deaths from 9/11 linked cancers; 204 New York firefighters who have died from 9/11 related illnesses; and 241 New York police officers who have died from 9/11 related illnesses.
