Video released of car in Ladoga crash

LADOGA — Police have released video of the vehicle believed to have struck a motorcyclist Saturday in Ladoga.

Footage apparently taken from a security camera shows a car described as a red Ford Mustang moving northbound on Washington Street about 7 p.m., moments before the crash.

The vehicle turned east on State Road 234, where it’s suspected to have struck 50-year-old Lonnie McIntyre on his motorcycle at the intersection, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The video does not show the vehicle making the turn. Police say it’s possible the driver didn’t know they were involved in a crash. The vehicle appeared to have Indiana plates.

Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff’s deputies at 765-362-3740.

McIntyre suffered serious injuries to his legs, arm and shoulder in the crash, his daughter, Angela Laughter told the Journal Review earlier this week. He was being treated at an Indianapolis hospital.

A GoFundMe page set up to cover medical expenses had raised more than $1,200 as of Thursday afternoon.

The Ladoga Town Marshal’s Office is also working the investigation.
