The Montgomery County Health Department is putting a call out for volunteers to help run the COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
Vaccines are being administered by appointment from 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays in the former Save A Lot store on South Boulevard.
Both medical and non-medical volunteers are needed for the following positions:
• Vaccinators (such as LPN, RN, EMT, paramedic, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, medical doctor, doctor of osteopathic medicine, pharmacist)
• Registrars
• Observers
• Check-in
• Runners/floaters
Volunteers can sign up online through the Indiana State Department of Health’s COVID-19 vaccine volunteer registration.
Two shifts are available on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Shifts may change due to the amount of vaccine the county is allotted or receives for the week.
