The Wabash College tennis team faced 20th-ranked Kenyon College in the Little Giants opening match of the North Coast Athletic Conference portion of the 2025 spring schedule Friday. Wabash picked up a lone victory in singles play in a 6-1 loss to nationally-ranked Owls at home at the Collett Tennis Center.
Wabash (7-3, 0-1 NCAC) earned its point with a three-set win by Vittorio Bona at number six singles. Bona trailed 6-2 after the first set before rallying for a 6-2 win to force the 10-point tiebreaker. He finished off Kenyon (4-0, 1-0 NCAC) sixth singles Rohan Sriram 10-8 for the victory.
Maksymilian Domanski also played to three sets at number five singles with scores of 7-5 and 6-2 to set up a third set. He lost 10-8 to Jay Dixit in the 10-point tiebreaker.
Wabash plays two home matches on Saturday, beginning with an 11 a.m. contest against Calvin College. The Little Giants play Manchester at 5 p.m.
