Walter Dale Simpson, 77, of Waveland passed away peacefully April 14, 2021, at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.
He was born Sept. 4, 1943, at Crawfordsville, to the late Lowell and Bettie (Fulwider) Simpson.
Dale graduated from Waveland High School with the class of 1961. Over the years he worked as a farm hand for several different local farmers. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Brittany) Simpson and Dionna Smith; two grandchildren, Pride Smith and Dylan Simpson; brother Malcolm (Sally) Simpson; and one niece and one nephew.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be at 11a.m. Friday, April 16 at Old Union Cemeter, with Pastor Rodney Coffman officiating. Machledt & Servies Funeral Home has been entrusted with Dale’s funeral arrangements.
