Wanda Faye Stewart Miller, of rural Crawfordsville/Waynetown passed away at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, 2033.
She was born Aug. 28, 1942, at Bloomington, to the late Stacey J. and Adria Eleanor Stewart. She married Jimmy L. Miller on March 23, 2000, in the One Way Pentecostal Church in Crawfordsville. He survives.
Wanda was raised near Alamo and attended Alamo schools and never moved far from her roots. She was employed as a production worker for Sommer Metalcraft in Crawfordsville for 37 years.
Wanda was a dedicated member of the First Pentecostal Church in Crawfordsville. She faithfully read her Bible, enjoyed gospel music and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wanda was a gentle, sweet, kind soul.
Surviving, along with her husband Jim, are three grandsons, Craig Harboldt and Justin and Travis Carroll; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; sister Wannita LaTourette of Gessie, Indiana; and brother Merle (Liz) Stewart of Cave City, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Annette “Sue” Harboldt: son Randy Harboldt; sister Frieda Strong; and brothers, Winifred Stewart and Richard Stewart.
Visitation hours are 2-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22 with funeral services following at 3 p.m., with the Revs. Larry and Sharon Sharp officiating at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery South Crawfordsville.
