Warner “Dean” Little, 89, of Bloomingdale passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 9, 1932, at Howard, Indiana, to the late Kelly Earl and Opal Norene (Marshall) Little.

Dean graduated from Tangier High School in 1950 and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. On Oct. 21, 1961, he married the love of his life, Beverly Sue Hutson, who survives. He worked at Olin/Flexel in Covington for 40 years as an inspector and in the lab. He had a great love for baseball, was a pitcher and played on several baseball leagues and pitched several no hitters. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and loved attending the grandkids sports games.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bev; four children, Douglas Dean Little, Ramona Sue (Dan) Woods, Lisa (Gene) Daugherty and Kathy Little-Phillips; sister Lila (Rich) Crum-Ritz; nine grandchildren, Phil (Ally) Woods, Ben (Michaela) Woods, Jeff (Elizabeth) Woods, Cortney (Ken) Riley, Miranda (David) Waltrip, Carmen (Josh) Stevens, Ian Daugherty, Travis (Ashley) Little and Ashley Little; 13 great-grandchildren, Eliza, Gemma, Casen, Jaxson, Griffin, Nash, Isabella, Jossi, Javier, Alexander, Zoey, Aleyah, and RyAnna; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joe Little and Kelly Lee Little; and three sisters, Norma Cruse, LaVeta Millikan and Linda Collings.

Visitation  is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at the funeral home, with Pastors Loren Stephens and Doug Newnum officiating. The service will be recorded which can be viewed on his obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Burial will follow at Rush Creek Cemetery with military honors.
