Posted

WAVELAND — Have you always dreamed of a trip to a tropical paradise to attend a luau? Maybe you have experienced it before and want to relive some of the memories. It’s time to put on your Hawaiian shirts and join Waveland Strong as they host the Fourth Annual Progressive Dinner featuring The Syncrnss Spins — Fire Performer from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 6.

Participants will make five local stops through Waveland enjoying food, drinks and entertainment. The event is a great opportunity for a date night, an evening out with friends or a chance to meet new folks as you mingle with one another while traveling together to the next location and food course. It’s also a great opportunity to visit unique architectural and historic gems in our community.

Stops include: T.C. Steele Boyhood Home for appetizers and an open bar; Waveland Christians in Action Church for soup and salad; Waveland Fire Station for the main course by Trish Schwabe of Sunoco Midwest Catering; Waveland Library for entertainment; and T.C. Steele Boyhood home for dessert and nightcaps.

Besides the delicious food, the entertainment is something not to be missed. Syncrnss Spins is a multi-prop flow artist, working with silks, LED and fire. Guests will experience her work with hoops, spin fire fans, shoot flaming rope darts and dance with silk veil fans.

Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at the Waveland Library, 765-435-2700, or by calling Taelor at 812-528-2094. Tickets are limited and guests must be 21 or older.
