Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville celebrated its annual Wellbrooke Takes the Cake event to launch their customer service satisfaction survey. This semi-annual survey is a way for our families and residents to give feedback on the care they receive.
Residents and employees came together to make a variety of cakes that included a peppermint chiffon cake and a tomato soup spiced cake to name just a few. Local community employees and family members served as judges for the event and contributed to the festivities.
Judges were Daniel Petrie, Larry Hulse, Belinda Young, Stacy Sommer and Justin Froedge. After the judges collaborated, they awarded third place to Doris Harrington, Danelle Gillan and Shari Lovold for their apple cake. Second and first place cakes were a close competition with secnd place given to Mary Dezarn and Justice Balaz for their German chocolate cheesecake. First place was awarded to Bob Garing and Deana Jones for their white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.
