Wesley Stephen Owens, a son, born Aug. 19 at IU Hospital West, Avon, to Kyle and Samantha Owens, Plainfield. At birth, he weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 22 inches long. He was welcomed home by a brother, Jack Owens.
Maternal grandparents are Jeff an Luaan Mayti, Beech Grove, Maternal great-grandparents are Frances Mayti, Indianapolis, and Susan Smith, Brownsburg.
Paternal grandparents are Greg and Cathy Owens, Indianapolis. Paternal great-grandparents are Jim and Janet Zielinski, Crawfordsville.
