Wilbert “Willie” Mackey, 79, of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.
“Willie,” as he was affectionately called, worked previously at Woodmizer, Kresges later known as Kmart and Pamida Distribution Center. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos and watching football.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents; son Gregory; grandson Joshua and four siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Mackey; daughters, Lisa Walker, Shellie (Chris) Bryan and Kellie Blann; sister Ida Carter; brother Elmer (Elizabeth) Mackey; grandchildren, Corey Kinnett, Kylie Farfield, Brittany Walker, Nick Wethington, Trevor Wethington and Blake Bryan; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a service at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, with visitation at 11 a.m.
