William Edward Walls Jr., 82, of Ladoga passed away early Saturday morning, May 10, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
William was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Indianapolis, to the late William E. Walls Sr. and Anna Marie (Ross) Walls.
William worked for many years at Nucor Steel in Crawfordsville in quality control. William loved riding his golf cart all over town. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and playing cards. He also used to coach softball. He was very involved in stock car racing; he had his own car and drove in many races.
He is survived by daughter Donna J. Beady (Travis); son Danny J. Walls (Keri McKinsey); foster daughter Rhonda Warren; a sister; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mildred A. Walls; a brother; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15 at Ladoga Cemetery. Servies & Morgan Funeral and Cremation Services, 203 N. Washington St., Ladoga, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
