Williams to retire from LSC

Sharon Williams will retire from LSC Communications on Friday after 36 years of service.

Williams began her career with LSC in 1984 as a IBM diskette operator. In 1987, she transferred to computer services, in 1990 transferred to the 4/c Lineup. She has three journeyman cards. In 1998, she moved to her present position as a prepress operator 1 in the DSC department.

She and her husband, Ken, live in Crawfordsville. They have one son, Landon (Jessica) Lewis and a grandson, Nico and two step-grandchildren, Judah and Madeline Scaletta.

Williams likes to spend time reading, baking and gardening. After retiring, she plans to spend more time with her family and friends and do some traveling.

Williams is a member of the Eagles Club and the American Legion. She also has a computer programming degree from Ivy Tech.

Due to COVID-19, LSC is unable to offer celebrations at this time but Williams might at a later date.
